| Square First PS2 Baseball Video |
Would you like to see the most authentic-looking baseball game ever? You must see this movie
Square today released a 40-second demo of their new baseball game, Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: The End of the Century 1999. This authentic PlayStation2 footage shows off the new system's powers with human characters and human movement like no other PlayStation2 game has done to date. It's incredible.
The graphics of this game are to die for. The Japanese ball players move in a fluid and human way that's never been shown before on a system. The two Japanese pro teams, the Dragons and the Baystars, are shown playing in a stadium at night. The scenes show a pitcher winding up for the pitch, pitching the ball and the batter hitting a home run.
With Driving Emotion Type-S and The Bouncer pushed back from the PlayStation2 launch, the two newly announced games from Square, neither of which are role-playing games, look set to become the company's first launch titles.
