Here's a new feature in Future Gamer. Each and every week we'll be running a spot the ball competition, in which all you have to do is use your skill and judgement to place an X where you think the centre of the ball is.

To kick us off (ho ho! Eh?) we've doctored the ball out of this PlayStation screenshot of FIFA 2000. All you've got to do is place your X and email it back to Andy Ashwin before Thursday December 2, 1999 and the winner will be decided by an unscientific method of us choosing who's won on a whim!

But what lovely prizes could you be scoring (ho ho! Eh?)? We're not sure! We've got a cupboard full of PR-donated tat that we'll pick a random prize from each week - everything from Wild Metal Country dogtags to Dungeon Keeper 2 playing cards are in there, so just what you get is bound to be a surprise.

Haven't got your head round how to send your entries in? Simply right-click on the picture and 'save as' something. Then pull the picture into your favourite paint package, stick an X on the screenshot and save it out again. And no, we don't care how big your X is because we're only going to choose a winner at random anyway. Probably. Simple, eh?
