| Future Gamer: Issue 55 |
£0.00 |
Christmas starts here, with a raft of games released this weekend to either tempt your wallet or be added to your Xmas wish list. Sega's tie-in with Reebok offering players a special version of the Emerald Coast in Sonic Adventure is interesting news, as is the news of LucasArts' new Star Wars: Episode I game. Read all about it inside.
We've managed to squeeze in a main review for N64, Dreamcast, PC and PlayStation this week, alongside our Mini Reviews, which means there's something for everyone. Keep sending your top 10s in too, because all through December we're going to be choosing the games of the millennium and you just might remind us of a classic that's slipped our minds.
Enjoy the mag and we'll see you again next week!

Preview: Red Dog (Dreamcast)
Argonaut Software made a name for themselves working with Nintendo's machinery, but here's their first foray into the world of Dreamcast. Red Dog puts you inside an assault vehicle armed with missiles and laser systems, with aliens to point 'em at. |

Review: Ready 2 Rumble (Dreamcast)
Boxing games are notoriously hard to get right - either they're too difficult or too easy. There have been a couple of notable exceptions - Knockout Kings springs to mind - but here's the first to grace Sega's new machine. Hit or miss? |

Feature: Evolution of Game Controllers (Part Two)
Rob Wilson concludes his study of the evolution of the game controller and ponders what kind of controls we can expect in the future. Could we be entering an age where our emotions are monitored, or is science fiction getting the better of science fact? |
