Metal Gear: Ghost Babel

New details on MGS conversion

We've uncovered more details on the upcoming Metal Gear game for Game Boy Color. First, the VR missions will indeed make a return - because they were so popular in Metal Gear Solid for PlayStation, the Game Boy development team have designed 180 VR missions specifically for the portable game. Some of these require you to learn basic game strategies and how to utilise the game's weapons, while others are more puzzle oriented, much like Metal Gear Solid VR Special Missions. Like the PlayStation edition, the Game Boy version will also have time attack stages based on the existing missions.

Here's a breakdown of each of the characters, good and bad, in Metal Gear: Ghost Babel:

Solid Snake: The former member of Foxhound was discharged three years ago, but because of the heated situation, he's called back

Chris Jenna: Female member of Delta Force. Infiltrated the fortress before Snake but is the last remaining member of her team. Helps Snake throughout the game.

Black Chamber: Group of four men who are out to stop Snake at all costs.

Black Arts Vai: The leader of Black Chamber. He has a variety of wires and explosives attached to his artificial left arm.

Slasher Hawk: An Aborigine from Australia. Attacks with a giant boomerang.

Marionette Owl: Master of sneaking around in the darkness without a sound, preying on his victims like an owl. Is always accompanied by puppets.

Pyro Bison: Uses a giant flame-thrower. Has burns all over his body and possesses a strong attachment to fire.
