Y2K: The Game

Interplay tempt fate

Interplay are attempting to cash in on millennium madness with the release of Y2K: The Game. You'll assume the role of Buster, who has just bought a fancy high-tech mansion (just like Bill Gates'). At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, the power fails and big trouble ensues - Buster must find a way out of his super-pad as the security systems fight his every move. Obviously these systems don't need power.

But is Y2K: The Game Y2K compliant?

"We have tested this game top to bottom, and excluding a failure of the North American Power Grid, Y2K: The Game will play long into the year 2000 and beyond," said Kevin Johnston, Marketing Manager at Interplay. We'll see...
