Gamestock 2000: Combat Flight Simulator II

Microsoft take the war to the Pacific

The sequel to Combat Flight Simulator will arrive in time for Christmas, with the air war shifting from Europe to the Pacific Theatre of Operations (PTO). Dodgy carrier landings ahoy! Combat Flight Simulator II features 18 detailed aircraft, seven of which are flyable - A6M2 Zero, A6M5 Zero, N1K2-J George, P-38F Lightning, F4U-1A Corsair, F4F-4 Wildcat and F6F-3 Hellcat.

The Pacific islands are rendered in detail using an improved Flight Simulator 2000 terrain engine (time to start saving for that 1GHz processor), with plenty of explosions, splashes, waves and wakes.

There are two massive campaigns, taking in more than 120 missions, as well as a comprehensive mission editor and campaign builder. If that's not enough to keep you busy, take on up to seven mates on the MSN Gaming Zone, over a LAN or modem to modem.
