Gamestock 2000: Dungeon Siege

Choose your own buddies to go a-questing with in this gorgeous action-RPG

Yet another Microsoft title, and another exciting one. Dungeon Siege promises to be an inventive and gorgeous entry into the ever expanding RPG market. In it you can choose to face the perils of its fantasy world alone or you can take your own band of cohorts with you.

Including elements of real-time strategy (way pointers, drag selectors, etc), role-playing and third-person perspective games, Dungeon Siege also promises to give you the ability to explore its amazing-looking world, from mountaintops to dungeons, without a single load-up screen to hamper your progress.

What with puzzles to solve, secrets to uncover, monsters to battle, characters to develop and 10-player multiplayer support for a real fellowship of questers, this ambitious title should have just about every PC gamer drooling.

Out in early 2001, we'll have more on Dungeon Siege over the coming months.
