Konami Cold on Dreamcast

Though Dreamcast titles are few and far between in their new plans, there are going to be loads of new games for other platforms

Konami Japan announced their plans for the forthcoming business year today, and sparked off speculation that they're less than committed to Dreamcast.

The company say they'll be releasing 41 PlayStation titles in Japan, with 26 for Game Boy Color, three for N64 and only five for Dreamcast, sales of which are still poor in Japan.

Konami also announced their aim to corner 10 per cent of the worldwide videogame market, including a 50 per cent chunk of the sports sim genre.

They also announced they were committed to "original content" and "movie game content" in their list of titles, pointing to more titles like Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid in the future.
