Inspector Gadget

"Go Go Gadget on consoles!"

Ubi Soft have announced a range of Inspector Gadget titles for multiple platforms. The first to see the light of day will be for Game Boy Color, offering handheld owners the chance to thwart Doctor Claw's latest evil invention... the MadKaktus!

But why are Ubi Soft basing a game on a 10-year-old cartoon?

"Inspector Gadget has been around for a long time, and the character is widely recognised," said Yves Guillemot, Ubi Soft's Managing Director. "His humour, his legendary clumsiness and his numerous gadgets make him a totally one-of-a-kind hero who is simply irresistible."

So it's got nothing to do with the recent big-budget film starring Matthew Broderick then? Inspector Gadget for Game Boy Color will be released at some point in the future. We can barely contain ourselves.
