New online RPG from Mindark to be set in the future rather than a traditional sword and sorcery world

Swedish developers Mindark are creating an all-new online 3D RPG set in the future, called Project Entropia.

The game is set on a distant planet called Calypso, where mankind is forced to wage war on one of its own creations: robots. The battle for survival between machines and man results in the rapid development of both offensive and defensive equipment like weapons, armour, energy shields and advanced field equipment.

Rather than being level-based, a flexible RPG system will allow free personal character development by means of skills, experience, lifestyle and interaction with other online players. You'll even be able to choose your appearance.
