Lunatic racing from the Pitball Syndicate
The Pitbull Syndicate, the team of coders who produced Test Drive 4 and 5, and more recently, snowboarding game Big Air, are working on a Destruction Derby-wannabee called Demolition Racer for the PC.
The Pitbull Syndicate have even gone so far as to sign up a couple of people who worked on the Destruction Derby titles at Revolution Software in Newcastle. Like its destructive predecessor, Demolition Racer promises stock car racing and bowl challenges where you drive around like a complete lunatic.
There's obviously a massive market for this type of game because Destruction Derby remains one of the biggest-selling PlayStation games in Europe. Demolition Racer is expected to hit the shelves this summer.
