Dear Future Gamer,
Any particular reason why you didn't use my email on the iMac/Apple? Fair enough, it was particularly long, but you could have edited it if this was a problem. I certainly hope you didn't withhold it due to the fact that it portrayed (and proved) Apple as having the best computers and being the best computer company in the world. We get enough PC-biased opinions throughout the computing and media industries and don't need any more, thanks.
I would appreciate it if you could give me an honest answer as it took me a while preparing the email, due to checking magazines and leaflets to make sure I had my facts straight. This is the first time I have written to any mag/ezine as I felt so annoyed at the criticism and I presume you want to give people the chance to express their opinions.
All I'm asking is that you allow me to express mine as not many will stand up for Apple due to the minority ownership. I hope you will have the guts to reverse the trend and use my email in some form.
Thanks for your time.
Geo. H
FG:
The only reason I didn't run your letter, Geo, was because there weren't enough points of interest for the general reader. Your missive was well researched and well written but far too specific. We get hundreds of letters a week, not all of which are printable for various reasons. Sorry 'n' all. On a general note, we at FG hope the iMac becomes massive because it will persuade software houses to produce more Mac versions of their games and this, we believe, is a Good Thing.
