Dear Future Gamer,
On the subject of BITS, Andy Smith said:
"I think you're being a little harsh Adam. I didn't catch the show (heck, the pubs were still open!) so I can't comment but I'm sure it's a lot more planned and structured than you think. I'm sure the show's presenters will get better too".
Erm... try watching it before passing your oracular musings, Andy. It was and is a complete load of cobblers. Badly filmed, poorly presented (half of it in pidgin English), and lumbered (as Adam pointed out) with unenthusiastic, ill-informed 'babes' (shudder!).
The only redeeming feature was the lengthy footage during the 'reviews' (which consisted of some random comments on the game with no real guidance on its quality or any kind of rating. What's the point of that?).
So is any programme covering games, no matter how excruciating, better than none? It's a tough call.
On the whole, BITS is a shambolic mess aimed at pissed blokes. Shame on C4, and on you for giving an opinion on something you haven't seen.
Alan
FG:
Sorry Alan, I disagree. All I said was that I'm sure the show's a lot more structured than it may appear and I stick by that. Jees, everyone's a critic – give 'em a chance!
