Former Bullfrog chief joins Scottish developer
One of the industry's best-known names and co-founder of Bullfrog, Les Edgar, is joining leading Scottish developer VIS Interactive. VIS have just completed work on Earthworm Jim 3D and recently set up a children's software arm.
"The entertainment software industry as a whole is poised to enter a new dimension," said Edgar, "with both Sony, Sega and possibly Microsoft offering more powerful consoles with Internet connectivity. I firmly believe that companies like VIS, with the vision and drive to embrace and utilise the new technology, will enjoy enormous success."
"Les is someone I've admired for years," said Chris van der Kuyl, CEO of VIS Interactive. "He's one of the industry's true visionaries and we're delighted he's accepted the position. His role will be to help steer the business through these exciting times as VIS Interactive broadens its horizons."
