Codemasters secure WSA licence
Codemasters have nabbed the World Snooker Association licence for their recently announced 'bat and ball' title. The game will be marketed as World Championship Snooker and will feature 20 of the world's top players, as well as the Crucible, the world championship venue.
"Snooker is a truly far-reaching, mass-market sport, and with the powerful backing of the World Snooker Association, the endorsement of Cuemasters and software of this quality, we are confident World Championship Snooker will be recognised as the market leader in its category," enthused Mike Hayes, Codemasters' Sales and Marketing Director.
World Championship Snooker will be released early spring on PlayStation and PC. But how many old grannies have got PlayStations?
