Capital ship combat for PC

Red Storm Entertainment have announced U.F.S. Vanguard, a tactical space combat game for PC, due for release in August. The game puts you in the captain's seat of a massive interstellar capital ship, playing out an epic 3D adventure in deep space. Red Storm promise "thrilling combat against other massive capital ships", where you'll control all the systems on your vessel and explore unknown star systems.

"This isn't your average 'turn-and-burn'," said the game's Designer Juan Benito, in true Top Gun style. "In U.F.S. Vanguard we are creating a unique space combat game that allows the player to indulge in the fantasy of being a starship captain. For the first time players will truly experience capital ship combat from the commander's chair, making those key decisions that determine the fate of themselves, their crew and possibly the universe."
