Opportunity Nox for new Westwood action-RPG
Westwood Studios have announced the development of a new PC role-playing game called Nox. Set in a mystical land, the game pits you against powerful wizards and vicious monsters (as stereotypical as RPG fare gets).
The combat system provides you with more than 100 spells and weapons to defeat the aforementioned fiends and there are eight skill levels through which you must progress. Nox will also include five multiplayer options including deathmatches and 'capture-the-flag'.
"In Nox, you'll have to be fast, smart and it'll help to be devious," says John Hight, executive producer of Nox. "It's not just a matter of pointing a weapon or casting a spell. It's a matter of thinking ahead, designing combat combinations, setting traps, playing dirty tricks and staying one step ahead of an opponent that's doing the same."
The game will be released in the autumn.
