Dreamcast Gets Bass

Stars line up to fish backstage at the Prince's Trust

Sega secured a dream cast (ahem) for their Get Bass fishing competition which took place in the artists' enclosure at the Prince's Trust concert last Sunday. Members of Boyzone, Another Level, the Corrs and a selection of C list celebrities took it in turns to try to reel in the biggest bass, and all for charidee! Actually, the winners took home a Dreamcast...

Boyzone's Shane led the competition for most of the day, leading opponents to question the size of his tackle, but WestLife's Bryan (no, we haven't heard of them either, and we don't think Bryan's a suitable name for a pop star) landed a 9,035 gram bass to take the spoils.

We've had some smashing fun with Get Bass (check out the preview on the website) and the special rod controller works a treat. Virtual fishing might not sound too exciting, but look out Sony, Get Bass could topple your empire!
