Pinball for Game Boy

Silver Streak Pinball set for Game Boy Color

Flipping heck, it's pinball on the Game Boy Color (that's 'Colour'). Veteran developers Tarantula are in the final throes of completing Silver Streak Pinball, a game boasting seven tables (or boards, as they're known). Themed boards include Shark!, Terror Dactyl!, Double Agent, The Legend of Robin Hood, Galaxy Wars, Ancient Temple of the Aztecs and Motel Hell.

The left flipper is swished by the control pad, the right flipper by the A button. Apparently the music isn't the best in the world, although the Robin Hood table features the William Tell Overture (that's the Lone Ranger theme in case you're wondering). Seven tables is an impressive number, although whether you'll get a real pinball 'feel' seems somewhat unlikely. Silver Streak is backwardly compatible for the Game Boy and should arrive on the shelves around August.
