Magazine awards are 'reet posh' - it's Official

The Official UK PlayStation Magazine's annual awards will be held at The Sound Republic in Leicester Square (that's in London, just in case you're bumpkins like us) on August 12. Sponsored by Sony and Electronics Boutique, categories include: Best Game Character, Sports Game, Beat 'em up, Driving Game, Innovative Game and Best In-Game Music. The latter is being voted for by Suede's Brett Anderson, Fatboy Slim (Norman from The Housemartins) and Supergrass, among others.

Last year's inaugural event saw gongs going to Final Fantasy VII, Tomb Raider 2, ISS Pro and Tekken 2. How do you vote? Get the next issue of OPSM or hotfoot down to your local Electronics Boutique from July 12 onwards.
