Supermarket to sell consoles at £64.99. Again!
Despite Sony's recent injunction which prevented supermarket giant Tesco from selling PlayStations for £64.99 because of unofficial components imported from Germany, Tesco are set to get the console back on the shelves for the same price. How so?
To skate around the injunction, Tesco can simply put stickers on the box warning consumers that some of the components aren't official Sony items. This could have consequences where the PlayStation warranty is concerned, but it means that Tesco can continue to knock out Sony's console for a bargain price.
