Army's Advance Delayed

3DO'S new titles now due for release in January

3DO's up and coming games - Army Men 3D for PlayStation, Army Men: Sarge's Heroes for N64, Army Men: Toys in Space for PC, and Army Men: Air Attack for PC and PlayStation - are all now to be released on January 26 of next year, instead of next month, as had been hoped.

The delay is explained by the fact that 3DO have only recently got themselves safely established in their new European offices, but the small extra wait for the clutch of games may be worth it. The ground-based Army Men titles, based in a world where green and tan plastic soldiers have come to life, includes combat with weapons such as flame-throwers, on foot or while driving half-tracks, jeeps and tanks. Nice.
