Lemmings Revolution

Call the Samaritans!

Take 2 Interactive have announced Lemmings Revolution for PC. Developed by Psygnosis, Revolution is something of a return to Lemmings' roots, albeit from a new 3D perspective. There will be well over 100 levels of suicide prevention to be had, set on beautifully realised 3D towers. All your favourite Lemming abilities make a return (blockers, diggers, etc), as well as eight new skills - anti-gravity, herder, lantern, rocket, slow down, speed up, trampoline and Catherine wheel. There are also two new types of lemming - lava and water. These special breeds will be able to walk on otherwise hazardous terrain... such as lava and, you guessed it, water.

Lemmings Revolution is scheduled for an April 2000 release.
