Classic nuts take note - there's a horde of retro games heading to Game Boy Color this year

According to a Hasbro representative, the current development/distribution deal between Majesco and Hasbro will continue throughout 2000, with the companies producing at least seven titles for release. Coming this year are Game Boy Color versions of Frogger 2, Galaga, Galaxian, Q*Bert, NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Racers and Nicktoon Racers.

No date or information was revealed about any of these games, but we can assume that Frogger 2 will either be an enhanced version of Frogger released on the Game Boy Color a year ago or be based on the upcoming console sequel. Any classic gaming fans will recognise the Namco games Galaga and Galaxian, as well as the cube-hopping Q*Bert. NASCAR Racers will be based on the Fox Kids Saturday morning cartoon, while Nicktoon Racers will feature the Nickelodeon cartoon characters in a racing game.
