Team-based PC game competition - £10,000 to the winners!
The UK PC Gaming Championship 1999 grand final takes place in London on September 18. Best of all, there’s a £10,000 cash prize for the winning team.
"This championship is designed to bring together the country's finest gamers to find the ultimate PC champions who prove their winning tactics in a variety of games categories - Quake II is included as always," said a spokesperson for the championships. "Teams should ideally be of four players, each player skilled in at least one of the game categories."
Five regional qualifiers (London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester) held between June and August 1999 will see teams compete for the chance to progress to the grand final in London on September 18.
We’ll bring you more info on this as soon as… watch this space.
