Tactical Manager 2

Management sequel to launch in August

Tactical Manager 2 is set to launch in time for the new football season in August and it promises a host of new features. There are 30 simultaneous championships involving 60 divisions covering all the major leagues in the world, and you can choose to individually select them or let them all run at the same time (which will undoubtedly be rather time-consuming). You can also compete in both domestic and European cup competitions.

There are over 1000 teams in the game and each club has 32 players. You can buy and sell players on a global scale and you'll be able to directly access many of the teams via the Internet through the game. Tactical Manager 2 will include play-by-mail and play-by-email options. It's an exhaustive-sounding project and whether it can match the standards set by Championship Manager 3 remains to be seen. Look out for a preview in the coming weeks.
