LMP launch motion-sensitive pads
Imagine moving your PlayStation joypad in the direction you want your on-screen car/footballer/spaceship/ to move. No? Well, Leda Media Products are launching a new joypad in the Gamester range called Evolution which features 'G-Force Tilt' technology. The motion-sensitive tilt enables players to control the gaming action by moving their hands or control unit in the direction they want the character/object to move.
The Evolution consists of two parts: the Evolution reactor fits over the player's hand and uses the aforementioned tilt technology to detect the slightest hand movement to direct the action. The second element of the system is the Evolution GripStick (no, really), a small unit that features all the necessary buttons and fits in the player's hand.
A harebrained scheme? These things never usually work but hey, we haven't tried it yet. The Evolution will be released in the summer.
