Imagineer developing retro RPG for Game Boy Color

Imagineer have transported the characters from the recent Quest 64 RPG game and planted them in a 2D Game Boy Color title. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to '80s classic Dig Dug, Quest Fantasy Challenge is a combination of action and puzzle elements which demands you dig through a selection of tunnels to recover specific objects.

Main protagonist Brian is armed with a staff which he can use to shift soil and thwack enemies. Fiendish bosses await at the end of each kingdom. It hardly sounds the most innovative of fare though, does it?

Sunsoft will release Quest Fantasy Challenge later this year.
