Nintendo will release Mario Golf GB for Game Boy Color in August. An RPG mode is included, which will enable you to train your player. The saved player will be transferable to the N64 version, by means of the 64GB Pak.

Tiger Electronics' forthcoming Game.Com Pocket Pro handheld looks set to challenge the Game Boy's dominance, thanks to an impressive release list. This year will see versions of Metal Gear Solid, Deer Hunter, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Castlevania and Resident Evil 2 appearing on the system. Quite how the monochrome delights of Metal Gear Solid on the new machine will shape up to the fancy Game Boy Color is yet to be seen, though current screenshots suggest that the Game.Com Pocket Pro is a very promising and desirable piece of kit. The system is expected to retail at $29.99, with the games weighing in at between $9.99 - $24.99.

Maybe the sequel will have a 'virtual ladder', enabling you to climb into a building and rescue the occupants. Could become a new fitness craze, you never know!

Rumour has it that Square will bundle a playable demo of Chrono Trigger 2 with Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana on PlayStation. It would make sense - both are sequels to immensely popular Super Famicom RPGs of yesteryear.

Disney Interactive are working with Activision on Toy Story 2 for PlayStation and N64. The game, based on the Disney movie of the same name, will feature 15 stages set in seven worlds. Playing as Buzz Lightyear, your goal will be to save Woody from the toy collectors. Both versions are due to be released in December, to coincide with the launch of the movie.
