Dew Prism marks a new area of development for Square
Details of Square's newest game (previously rumoured in FG to be named Chrono Trigger 2 and rumoured eslewhere to be the sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi), were published today in Japan's weekly Famitsu magazine.
Entitled Dew Prism, Square's latest venture is developed by the two teams that worked on Secret of Mana and Xenogears, and features a choice of two players to control (each of whom have different stories to follow), and a new type of battle system. Little else is known about this surprising new title, but we'll have more details as soon as possible.
Dew Prism will arrive in Japan this summer as a packed-in demo with Legend of Mana. The game is due to release in Japan this autumn.
