EA join FA Hall of Fame

EA Sports sponsor Virtual Stadium at new football exhibition

Electronic Arts are sponsoring a 'Virtual Stadium' at the Football Association's Premier League Hall of Fame which opens in London on Saturday June 12. The Hall of Fame, which is based in County Hall on the opposite side of the Thames from the Houses of Parliament, features five halls of interactive football-themed attractions (no, you don't get to virtually spit at Roy Keane).

EA's hall is based around their Sports brand and in particular, the forthcoming FA Premier League Stars game which is due on PC and PlayStation in August. "It's anticipated that over 750,000 visitors will come to see The FA Premier League Hall Of Fame in its first year, meaning that a great many people will have the chance to experience EA Sports and its football games in the best possible environment," said EA's UK managing director, Paul Jackson.

"It's great news to have EA on board", said The FA Premier League Hall Of Fame's general manager, Mario Bhagwani. "I'm confident that the EA Sports Virtual Stadium will provide both an entertaining and educational look at the world of interactive football simulations".

The four other main halls are the Hall Of legends, FA Premier League, Hall of Fans, and Hope and Glory. Any eye witness reports are gratefully received at the usual address.
