Michelle Kwan inks deal with EA

EA develop their first game specifically for young girls

Electronic Arts have announced that they have just signed a game development deal with popular Olympic ice skater, Michelle Kwan.

"I'm incredibly excited to join the other great athletes who are part of the Electronic Arts family," said Michelle Kwan. "It's also a great honour to have EA build its first game specifically designed for girls around my skating".

Michelle Kwan Championship Figure Skating (working title) will allow gamers to create their own routines, design their own costumes, choose their music, select specific arenas from around the world to perform in and build scrapbooks of their skating careers.

What's really cool is that gamers can either skate as Michelle Kwan or use a digital image of any face - so even you can be an ice skating star.

Electronic Arts have yet to unveil screenshots and a release date. More details as we get them.
