ECTS exhibits growth

More companies sign up for prestigious Olympia games show

With only 10 weeks to go before Europe's most prestigious videogames show, organisers Miller Freeman have announced a record sign-up for the event. ECTS (European Computer Trade Show) will play host to all the world's biggest game companies including Sony, Nintendo, Eidos, Ubi Soft, Codemasters, Acclaim and Microsoft. Japanese company SNK are showing off their new Neo Geo Pocket handheld and Intel have doubled the size of their stand.

"These latest signings are testament to the fact that ECTS is recognised as the key event within Europe. All of our pre-registration numbers are up on last year and our website: www.ects.com, is breaking all of our previous records, being constantly hit by European as well as UK companies," commented event director, Andy Lane.

ECTS opens at Olympia on September 5 and runs through to Tuesday, September 7. Unfortunately, it's trade only so the darned folk who actually buy games aren't allowed in.
