Eidos link up with Japanese developer Enix for GBC
Eidos are making their first steps into the Game Boy Color market after they agreed a publishing deal with Japanese company Enix. Although Eidos have an exclusivity deal with Sony, trade paper CTW reckons that the new foray could possibly result in Tomb Raider arriving on Game Boy Color in the future.
"There's a lower risk than developing for a new platform and while it's still a cartridge-based model, it's still less expensive to develop for Game Boy Color than other cartridge based systems," Eidos' Mike McGarvey told trade paper CTW. "We'll be annoucing two Game Boy Colour titles soon". Get on with it, man!
