Confirmed Kill in confirmed limbo

Eidos' dogfight sim may never see the light of day

Because of bigger and fiercer competition in the online gaming market (particularly with flight sims), Eidos have decided to put Confirmed Kill on hold.

Eidos responded to queries regarding the title by saying that they are "still evaluating publishing options for this title, but have not finalised distribution plans at this time".

Rumour has it that the game may be moving to a new publisher altogether, though Eidos' official word is that Confirmed Kill is still on company radar. "We hope to find the best venue for such an innovative title in the near future," added a spokesperson. "We will have more to say when the company has made a determination".
