Speedball 2100 Strikes Back With Empire!

British publisher wins global rights for PlayStation title

The Bitmap Brothers have chosen Empire Interactive to publish their much-anticipated Speedball 2100.

"Choosing between publishing partners was a difficult decision to make, but of all the suitors, ultimately Empire shared our vision of what will make Speedball 2100 one of the hit titles of next year," said Mike Montgomery, Bitmap's Managing Director. "Thousands of Speedball fans have told us what they want and that is what we will deliver - an all-action, total arcade, sweaty, adrenaline thrash for the PlayStation. Speedball is back!"

Speedball was originally a hit on the Amiga and Atari ST 10 years ago. The new version promises more of the same, with plenty of extras which will utilise the full power of the PlayStation.

Speedball 2100 will be released early next year and we can't wait to get our hands on it.
