More on Intellivision Classics

Activision reveal more titbits on their upcoming classic compilation pack

A few weeks ago we snuck in with the news that Activision would be releasing a classic compilation pack of Intellivision games for the PlayStation. At the time the company weren't ready to spill the beans on the exact contents of the disc, but they're ready now.

Called Intellivision Classics, the compilation disc will feature 30 games in a completely emulated environment. This means the PlayStation will emulate the Intellivision and play the games as if they were being played on a true Intellivision system, much like Activision Classics which was released last year. There will also be retrospective video clips and interviews with the people responsible for the original games. So far so good.

Activision have announced 13 of the 30 games that will be included on the disc. Here's the current roster:

Football, Star Strike, Space Battle, Astrosmash, Baseball, Armor Battle, Space Armada, Auto Racing, Night Stalker, Pinball, Sub Hunt, Hockey and Stadium Mud Buggies.

Stay tuned - we'll have more information on this classic compilation pack shortly, including the complete list of games.
