Nibbles page 2 of 3

Some Japanese RPGs sound so bizarre that you just can’t wait to get your hands on them. Purumui Purumui certainly falls into the ‘must play’ category. Slated for an August 26 release in Japan, Purumui Purumui is the story of a little girl who has lost her memory. As the girl, you’ll travel around with a weird little creature called Purumui, who has the ability to transform into things by eating various foodstuffs. You can find ingredients throughout the game that can be used to cook food for the freakish muncher – one particular meal turns Purumui into a ladder, granting access to otherwise unreachable plateaux. There's also a mini cooking game for the PocketStation, whereby you prepare different meals for Purumui to judge. Cool or what?

To celebrate the June 25 release of Might & Magic 7, Ubi Soft and 3DO are running a “Create a Monster” competition. The monster that Ubi Soft and 3DO judge to be the most original and inventive creation will be professionally recreated by 3DO artists and actually included as a character in Might & Magic 8. 10 runners up will have their entries included on the official Might & Magic 7 website for the world to see and will receive a Ubi Soft watch. The monster can be designed digitally (providing it is no more than 0.5Mb in size) and emailed to Ubi Soft's competition address or simply drawn and faxed/posted to: Create a Monster Competition, Ubi Soft Entertainment, Vantage House, 1 Weir Road, Wimbledon, SW19 8UX. The fax number is 0181 944 9300. The competition runs from June 28 until August 27 1999. Don’t forget to include your name, age, address and email address with your entry. Note – unfortunately, entries can't be returned. The complete terms and conditions of entry are as follows:

6. The Competition will run from June 28 - August 27 1999.
7. The winner will be the person Ubi Soft and 3DO judge to have created the most original new character which can be incorporated into Might & Magic 8.
8. The winner will be notified by email and/or post by September 30 1999.
9. The competition organisers do not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet.
10. Players must supply full details as required by the entry form, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
