First Details on Virtua Striker 2000 PAL Conversion

We've just received a beta of the European version of Sega's arcade-style DC soccer game.

Not due out until February 2000, we were surprised to receive a more or less complete version of Virtua Striker 2000 this morning. Eager to see whether or not the game contained a 60Hz mode, this was the first thing we went to look for as we booted it up (no pun intended).

Thankfully, it features one - with no borders! Apart from that, everything remains exactly the same as its Japanese counterpart, except for the Dreamcast banners, which have now been painted a riveting blue. For those of you football fans searching for a graphical sensation, we suggest you hold out on UEFA Striker and Worldwide Soccer 2000 for Virtua Striker.

It's worth noting however that the game does lack in depth, and there are some flaws in the gameplay department.
