Nintendo's add-on device makes its way to Japanese homes... finally.
After numerous delays, Nintendo's much talked about 64DD add-on device for the Nintendo 64 has been finally released to the Japanese gaming public. Early subscribers to Nintendo's 64DD service received the kits this weekend, along with the modem cartridge, cable, and the first two games Mario Artist: Paint Studio and Kyojin no Doshin1. The system hits retail stores, meanwhile, December 15.
The RandNet Internet connectivity service is not included in the current package and is expected to be available there in February.
