SCi have acquired the worldwide computer and videogames rights to the cult puppet show Thunderbirds. A glut of games is expected to coincide with the release of the digitally-restored series which will be aired on BBC2 next autumn. Let's hope some of them are better than the old ZX Spectrum Thunderbirds game - it was dump.

Micronet are currently working on a new Dreamcast title called Hemp Mahjong. The four-player game will make use of the Dreamcast modem, keyboard and microphone, enabling childish banter between contestants. We like the name a lot and are eagerly awaiting Cocaine Dominoes.

Talking of pizza (and we were), hungry gamers are now able to order the flat, round, Italian delicacy using their Dreamcast's modem, all thanks to Domino's Pizza. It could be argued that the same result is achievable by means of the desktop PC, but then there wouldn't really be much of a story.

Those damned Pocket Monsters continue to dominate the Japanese all-format charts after another astounding set of weekly sales figures. Pokémon Silver for Game Boy Color has hit the top spot after shifting 562,006 in a single week, closely followed by Pokémon Gold, which sold 553,584. Combined total sales for the two are now just shy of three million.
