Eidos announce groundbreaking Game Boy title

Future Gamer's 'Game of the Show' at last year's ECTS has been snapped up by Eidos. Tyrannosaurus Tex is a first-person shooter for Game Boy Color, developed by Lincolnshire-based Slitherine Software. It's the only Game Boy Color game to offer multiplayer deathmatch via a link cable, featuring high-colour cut scenes and 3D sound.

"Here at Slitherine Software we are dedicated to creating two things - great technology and great gameplay," said Ben John, Lead Programmer and Managing Director of Slitherine Software. "Tyrannosaurus Tex delivers both of these in equal quantity, bringing Game Boy Color owners an action-packed, high frame-rate, 3D extravaganza that, until now, only next generation console owners could experience." Let's not forget all you PC Half-Lifers and Quakers, eh?

Tyrannosaurus Tex will be in stores this spring.
