| Titus buy Interplay stake |
French company takes controlling interest in Interplay
French publishers Titus have purchased a controlling interest in Interplay. In a deal worth £15.6 million, Titus have secured a 57 per cent stake. Interplay have struggled of late and this deal at least secures their future.
"The fact that Titus is paying a premium over the current trading price for these Interplay shares shows how much we believe in Interplay and in the future," Titus chairman Herve Caen told CTW. "This transaction represents a new chapter for Titus and Interplay."
