Hasbro in Driving Seat?

GT Interactive and THQ up for grabs?

GT Interactive are up for sale, despite the recent number one successes of Driver and TA: Kingdoms. This naturally makes them an attractive proposition and Hasbro and Mattel are both in the bidding.

However, Hasbro are thought to have turned their attentions to THQ, who have quite a strong line-up of titles this year.

"THQ is a very attractive business," a US analyst told CTW. "It has a high valuation, a strong management team and strong, family-friendly franchises of particular interest to toy companies looking to increase their presence in the games market."

Gosh!
