Lara to pay for new left back?
Eidos gaffer Ian Livingstone is a life-long fan of perennial under-achievers Manchester City. And now the man who has made millions from the exploits of a certain Lara Croft has ploughed some of it back into the club he loves. For the next three seasons, City will sport the Eidos logo on the front of their jerseys.
"I'm the fan who has put his money where his mouth is," said Livingstone. "I've supported City since I was four. Now I've got the chance to do something to help. The deal is incentive-based, but it could reach £2 million in the next three years."
But that probably depends on City winning the Premiership. Which is unlikely.
