Zombie's Revenge Announced for Japan

Sega's zombie-busting fighter is coming home this October

Great news, zombie-freaks. Zombie's Revenge, Sega's Naomi-based polygonal Streets of Rage-style side-story to the House of the Dead series has been announced for a Japanese Dreamcast release this October. The game will sell for 5,800 yen and will feature support for the Puru Puru pack. Other enhancements planned for the home version include original modes, original costumes for the characters, new special items and weapons, and mini-games via the VMS.

So when can future Dreamcast owners in America expect their dose of side-scrolling, butt-busting, face-bashing action? Sega's official word on the matter is, "We're looking into it," which, if you think about it, tells us nothing on the matter. We'll report back with more information on the American release, and you can be sure we'll be there when the Japanese version comes out this October.
