| Dreamcast Gets the Big Bang |
3D space shooting action makes its way to the Dreamcast in style
The Dreamcast has the potential to be the ideal platform for 3D space shooters, so we're all quite excited to find that Project Two Interactive's Big Bang has been confirmed for Dreamcast development and is scheduled for release some time next year.
The game puts you in the role of a starfighter pilot in an epic campaign to rid the universe of tyranny. As usual. The important part is that the game boasts some of the most impressive visuals seen in a home videogame to date, and it doesn't play too shabbily either. The game's overall design and conception screams "ambitious" - fighting evil is tough, but who ever thought it could be so much fun? A downloadable demo of the PC version has surfaced out there in web land, and it's more than worth checking out, if only to get a taste of what you'll be playing on your Dreamcast next year.
