Capcom announce plans to release Dino Crisis 2, plus four to five other titles for PS2

Capcom today confirmed plans to release five to six titles for PlayStation2 in Japan. The most notable title announced was the sequel to Capcom's highly successful survival horror game, Dino Crisis. With sales of Dino Crisis for PlayStation in Japan currently exceeding 800,000 units, it was obvious that Capcom would release a sequel to the game.

Capcom's PlayStation2 release list now includes Dino Crisis 2, Onimusha: Demon Warrior, Street Fighter EX3 and a new Resident Evil game. This means that at least one to two other presently unannounced titles are also in the works.

While it's just speculation at this time, we anticipate Capcom adding PowerStone 2 and possibly another Street Fighter game to their PS2 release list in the near future.
