EA Go PlayStation2 Ballistic

The biggest developers on the planet are going full scale for PS2 with 10 games in 2000

Two different sources have informed us that Electronics Arts are going to fully support PlayStation2 next year, with at least four games at launch and 10 games altogether in 2000.

While it's more than obvious that EA are already fully behind PlayStation2 - the company have quietly announced as much - the number of games is staggering, and it shows how much the Redwood City-based developer have riding on the new 128bit DVD-based game system.

Obvious games for PS2 include Madden NFL 2000, NBA Live, a new WCW wrestler game, Need for Speed, FIFA and NHL.
