Tiberian Sun Upgrade Available

New patch speeds up Internet play

Westwood Studios have announced an upgrade for Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun that significantly increases the speed of multiplayer games over the Internet. The patch is automatically installed when you log on to Westwood Online through Tib Sun, and it can also be downloaded directly from Westwood's site.

The upgrade includes several improvements to the multiplayer game interface, including extra game speed options and network latency adjustments. In addition, a new 'short game' option will be available, which ends the game after all a commander's buildings are destroyed (instead of all buildings and units), so you won't have to spend an hour trying to find one pesky hidden tank.
